To Nagano

Said goodbye to the hotel and Shinagawa this morning. Arrived safely in Nagano today, sorry not many photos taken on my phone this time. All on camera.

All went well. Shinkensen was excellent. So smooth. Beautiful views of the forests, snow, volcanic ranges and rivers. We went up through the mountains into old Takeda lands! Lots of snow still on the hills. We made sure we had noodles in Nagano and ended the day in the hotel onsen. I had a nudey (Got brave) broken conversation with a Japanese man on the top of a hotel about Japan. Watched the full moon which was red/orange rise up and appear from behind very high mountains. Was great. So relaxing even though we're in a city, it's strange. Skin feels good. We're off to see the Zenkoji Temple tomorrow and discover Nagano. Then pay our respects to Uesugi and Takeda, visiting the battle ground on Tuesday.
