Morning Markets, Hida Alps

We did it! We made it up to the top of the Hida Takayama Alps via the Sky ropeway. The view was breathtaking and the ride quite smooth. Goes pretty quick. I will upload a couple of videos when we hit a Wifi spot but here are our photos from my phone for now.

*Updated 15/04* - Video now uploaded.

We started out by checking out the Morning Takayama markets. Lots of the local mothers from the area had many yummy foods and crafts to sell and lots of people were out & about. Lots more foreigners here. If we could have, we would have reversed our days around and went out to the Alps yesterday because it was clear skies but we didn't know about it until we saw it on a local brochure in the afternoon. Nevertheless it was still awesome. We ran out of time trying to make the stalactite caves but we enjoyed playing in the snow on top of the Alps :)

Off to Noto Peninsular, Wajima tomorrow morning early. Staying at a Ryokan for the first time. It's called Keiyu Notonosho and is on the coastline facing the Sea of Japan toward China. Will take us about 5.5 hours to get there lol. We'll be going through Inozuni, Toyoma, Kanazawa and Wakura which will be nice.
